DNS Vault – Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of DNS Vault and any purchase of a domain name from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are

2. Scope of Service
DNS Vault sells domain names from its own portfolio. We are not your registrar, hosting provider, or legal adviser. Registrar services after transfer are provided by the registrar you choose.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current contact and billing information.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or refuse service where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or legal non-compliance.
4. Listings, Pricing, and Availability
- Prices and availability may change at any time before payment is confirmed.
- A listed domain is not reserved until checkout is submitted and accepted by our system.
- A purchase is not final until we confirm cleared funds and complete any required checks.
- Unless stated otherwise, prices are shown in GBP.
5. Payment Methods
We currently support payment via:
- Card payments (processed by Stripe)
- Bank transfer to our designated company bank account using your order reference
- Escrow via Escrow.com
We may add, remove, or restrict payment methods at any time for risk, compliance, operational, or technical reasons.
6. Payment Confirmation and Verification
- We may request identity, billing, or anti-fraud verification before completion.
- For card payments, status updates depend on confirmation from Stripe.
- For bank transfers, you must use your provided reference and we confirm receipt on our side before transfer starts.
- For Escrow transactions, status updates depend on Escrow.com milestone and payment confirmations.
- If verification is not completed or payment is reversed, we may cancel the order.
7. Domain Transfer and Completion
- Domain transfer starts only after payment is confirmed and required checks are complete.
- Transfer timing can vary due to registrar, registry, buyer account readiness, and third-party processes.
- Risk and responsibility for renewal pass to you once transfer completes.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Our refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
In summary: domain purchases are generally final once transfer is initiated or completed. Limited pre-transfer refund rights may apply.
9. Buyer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for trademark clearance, brand checks, and legal due diligence before purchase.
- You are responsible for selecting and maintaining your registrar account after transfer.
- You are responsible for ongoing renewals, fees, and compliance after transfer.
10. Intellectual Property and Listing Content
- Domain names are sold “as is” and “as available.”
- Descriptions, branding examples, logos, and suggested use-cases are informational only.
- We do not guarantee trademark availability, commercial performance, SEO outcomes, or valuation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DNS Vault is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
12. Third-Party Services
Payments and transfer workflows may involve third parties (including Stripe, Escrow.com, registrars, and registries). We are not responsible for delays, outages, or actions outside our reasonable control.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
14. Contact and Complaints
